Milngavie Young Singers



First performance of "No Quiet Place"
With soloists Ann Archibald and Judy Slater, and conductor Hugh Macdonald


Several composers have accepted invitations to write music specially for Milngavie Young Singers. (Julia Donaldson and Michael Norris are both local residents). A special feature of several of these pieces is their use of small groups of instruments, the parts originally written to be played by members of the group or friends.
